Our Partnership

How do i get my item to you?

Once your item has been approved, drop it off at our salon, located at 360 King Street East.

If you live outside of Toronto, you may ship your item to us. We will provide special instructions for this option.

Do I need to pay for dry cleaning?

Prior to consigning all garments must be cleaned either professionally or at home.

Once the garment is accepted into our salon we manage all dry cleaning, repairs, appointments, and payment processing for rentals.

Can I reserve my own items for an event?

Absolutely. You may ‘Take Out’ your Item if it is not already booked for a rental on the same days. The item must be returned in excellent and clean condition for the next Borrower.

We recommend reserving your item as far in advance as possible.

How long do you have my items for?

The consignment term is 6 months. After that, either party may terminate the agreement. You must retrieve the item within 45 days or it will be forfeited.

What is the commission rate? How Do I Get Paid?

Consignors have 2 payout options. 1) You may opt to receive 25% of the rental fee in cash. 2) You may opt to receive 40% of the payout in store credit. Our share covers dry cleaning, dress repairs, the salon space, facilitating appointments, marketing, payment processing, and everything that helps keep the lights on!

All pricing is agreed upon before your pieces hit the floor. We are here to ensure you feel comfortable with the future payout(s). Cash payouts are e-transferred within 30 days.

What happens if my item is damaged?

Our priority is the safety and proper care of your garments.

Before your garment leaves our Salon, all Borrowers sign a comprehensive agreement taking ownership of any damage, theft, or loss. Borrowers go through an ID verification managed by a third party software. Credit cards are kept on file if the agreement is breached. The Borrower will be charged the full value of the garment if it is irreparably damaged or lost.

Standard wear and tear is expected and is repaired by our trusted tailors at no cost to you. This includes stains at the hem, broken clasps, or missing beads.
